Home made Soya Bean curd for the hot summer. This is an easy recipe for you to try out. The texture and taste are similar to the famous "Lao Ban Dou Hua". It is definitely cheaper and a sense of satisfaction. I will normally prepare it in the night and enjoy it the next day when the weather is so hot.
Ingredients:
1 litre of Soya Bean drink
50 grams of Nestle Coffemate
4 teaspoon of Gelatine
Method:
1) Heat the soya milk. DO NOT reach to the boiling point.
2) Stir in the coffeemate powder until dissolved.
3) Make sure the soya milk is really hot (not boiling) then add in the gelatine and keep stirring.
4) Once the gelatine is completely dissolved, turn off the flame and pour into the moulds. Refrigerate overnight (not freezer) and enjoy!
PS:
I ever heard some people said that they used black soya bean milk instead. Not sure how was the outcome. Anyone trying and let me know?
