Throwback to some time ago, I had a craving for soury taste soup. I was quite lazy to go grocery shopping so I just whipped up any ingredients I could find in my fridge. It turned out to be so tasty and so comforting to my cramps (you know lah..:p). I will share here with you girls who would like to try out this amazing soup for the soul.
Ingredents:
4 piece of pork ribs (those frozen type you can get in NTUC will do)
2 packs of baby corns - cut half vertically
2 medium tomatoes - cut quarterly
1 medium carrot - cut into chunks
1 large yellow onion - peeled and roughly cut
5 - 6 garlic cloves - peeled n cut half
3 sourplums (those you eat when you feel nausea)
Method:
1) Wash and scaled the pork ribs. Put it in the half pot of boiling water.
2) Add in all the ingredients and bring to boil.
3) Lower the flame and simmer it for 20 minutes. Make sure the tomatoes are soft and broken up for better taste. Season with salt of your preference taste. Enjoy!
PS:
This soup is really comforting especially when I am having stomach cramps or having those days of no appetite moments. It is mild to those people who have gastric problem and still wants soury food. It is much better than spicy n sour food example like tom yum soup when you are having gastric or upset stomach. No harm trying it! :)
